Submitting an enquiry or using the trip planner does not create a booking or require either party to proceed. A proposed itinerary is based on the information you provide and remains subject to availability, price confirmation, and any stated validity period.

A booking becomes confirmed only when we provide written confirmation and any required deposit or payment has been received in cleared funds. Additional booking conditions supplied with your proposal will form part of your agreement with us and will prevail if they conflict with these website Terms on a booking-specific matter.

Budget figures and prices shown on the website are estimates unless clearly stated otherwise. Your proposal will identify the applicable currency, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule, and any taxes or fees known at that time.

Bank charges, exchange-rate differences, and charges imposed by your card issuer or payment provider are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• the names and information supplied for every traveller are complete and accurate;
• passports, visas, permits, insurance, and other travel documents are valid and suitable for the journey;
• you review current health, safety, entry, and travel guidance before departure;
• you tell us about relevant dietary, mobility, medical, or accessibility requirements early enough for us to assess them; and
• you behave responsibly and follow the lawful instructions of guides, accommodation providers, transport operators, and local authorities.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, cancellation, curtailment, personal belongings, and the activities included in your itinerary.

Hotels, transport providers, guides, activity operators, and other suppliers may provide parts of your journey. Their own terms may also apply. We will identify material supplier conditions where reasonably possible.

Travel can be affected by weather, wildlife movements, transport disruption, government action, public-health events, and other circumstances outside reasonable control. If a material change is necessary, we will aim to offer a suitable alternative and explain any price impact. Cancellation and refund rights will be governed by the booking conditions and supplier terms provided for your trip.

Unless stated otherwise, the website’s text, branding, graphics, itinerary concepts, layout, and original content belong to CHÉ Escapes or are used with permission. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial trip planning. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, scrape, or commercially exploit it without prior written permission.

You must not use this website to:

• break any applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
• send false, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading enquiries;
• introduce malicious code or interfere with website security;
• attempt unauthorised access to the website, its systems, or data; or

These website Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms will be submitted to the courts of Sri Lanka.
